Vic: Nagasaki Day rally in Melbourne
Hundreds of peace protesters have rallied in Melbourne to mark the anniversary of theSecond World War atomic bombing of Nagasaki.
More than 600 members of the Victoria Peace Network and the Medical Association forPrevention of War took to the city's sreets to show their opposition to nuclear weapons.
Association spokeswoman GIJI GYA (Giji Gya) says maintaining nuclear weapons and anuclear capacity puts all nations in danger through terrorism or in response to terrorism.
